@HaloCodex The problem with option 2 is that at the end of 3 the Covenant was broken and the Flood was beaten, there was no big enemy anywhere and Humanity had survived and technically inherited the galaxy.
You can't recreate the aura of dread the first 3 games had without a brutal enemy
@SteveChillGame@HiddenXperia At this point I am open to a full top down bottom up reboot of the Entire franchise.
By all means keep the ideas, big war, humans losing war, the Halos, the Spartans, the flood and the Forerunner and redo the entire franchise.
@Installation001 Stolt has canonically fought and defeated Spartans even in armor.
He is also strong enough to fight Elites and win consistently. Though his fighting style is more take the punches and then hit back.
He is also extremely intelligent and coherent when compared to other Grunts.
@space_lich Because every non-SM faction gets a model or 2 every couple of years and maybe every decade a range refresh.
Meanwhile SM players get 20 models a year and complain like babies when they don't get a participation model whenever other faction has something.
PS I love SM models
@SpartanBoski@NakaiCanon As bad as the Halo show was, it did do justice to what Lekgolo could really do and it's really horror territory.
Every squirming part of the Lekgolo can move independently and they can swarm prey easily.
In many ways the suits are a nerf to what they could potentially do.
@NakaiCanon I'm going to say Grunts.
Very little to almost nothing has been said about them.
They exist as cannon fodder and little else.
Almost nothing on their culture, society and showcase of what they are beyond this minimalist station.
@NakaiCanon Halo 5 story while not great, followed many of the same story points and Halo 2 and was a setup for a sequel so you could end the threat of the Created, just as Halo 2 was a setup to end the Covenant War and the Flood.
Sadly H5 story didn't resonate and the story was ended early.
@risebluesun @ERob979 They've needed years and like 4 series to explain that and try and make it stick.
And while it has explained why Palpatine returns it does absolutely nothing to the fact that the sequels have no unifying story, no time to tell any stories as the whole trilogy takes about 6 months
@risebluesun Nope, in the years since their release the disdain for the sequels has only increased.
This is because the sequels have no story to tell beyond the movies .
Meanwhile the prequels had a whole war to cover and a lot of characters to explore, it had time the sequels didn't.
@TemplinEdu That is why the movie MI is an all infantry force and has no vehicles, as the Mobile part is meant to be done by the fleet who can transport them quickly from point to point and vehicles would slow this Mobility down.
Once the MI has power suits this infantry approach is easier.
@TemplinEdu The MI in the movies is loosely based on the MI on the books. But Paul Verhoeven wanted a satire of militarism and made them as simple and stupid as possible.
Basically an Infantry force, that can be quickly relocated thx to the fleet, but otherwise no support whatsoever.
@jtimsuggs Episode 1 the Phantom Menace.
It was just after school reports and my viewing depended on my grades.
I passed and got to see it.
The energy, the ambiance and the awesomeness of the movie makes it memorable to me to this day.
