Sarkin Mota has now hired several people whom he puts food on their tables every month in a country where unemployment has crippled the youth. He has taken many off the streets and these people will go on to build their careers at his company and who knows, sky is their limit. Meanwhile none of the big mouths that were criticizing his hiring process have a single person earning a living under them. Infact, none of them would help you with urgent 10k if you need it, but they were the loudest in bashing and discouraging people from sending their CVs for job consideration. I can strongly relate. Last year, I left academia for the private sector. My monthly pension contribution alone at my new job was ₦53,000 more than my entire university salary. That was when I realised the job was secure but unfortunately, so was the poverty.

I served the federal government for 10 years and left the civil service at GL 14 - CONMESS 04. And you know how much my monthly pension is - 74k and those that wait until retirement and left at GL 17 - CONMESS 07 are collecting around 125k monthly as pension.
This is the job security that you are been promised. Young men and women run while you can there’s nothing in the civil service unless if you’re aiming to pilfer which is becoming almost impossible to reach that level
