LIE: I’m not good enough.
TRUTH: You matter. There’s greatness inside you.
LIE: There is no hope for me.
TRUTH: God has a plan for your life. Your best days are ahead.
LIE: What if I fail?
TRUTH: Failure doesn’t define you, if refines you.

Being a perfectionist and feeling unworthy are two sides of the same coin. Because you feel unworthy you strive to be perfect to validate yourself. You strive to prop up your identity with perfect outcomes and accomplishments. Remind yourself that you are worthy. You are enough.
5 Ways to Overcome Bad Days
1. Pray
2. Remind yourself it’s temporary and tomorrow is a new day.
3. Find someone to help. You’ll forget about your own problems.
4. Look at your challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow.
5. Believe that the best is yet to come.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. —Phillipians 4:6-7 NLT

No matter how busy you are, there is something you can do to brighten someone’s day. Give someone a hug. Send a text w/ an inspiring quote. Mail someone a heartfelt card. Tell someone how much you appreciate him or her. Each day presents us w/ opportunities to do something kind.
