Vitamin D supplementation reduced mortality from Covid19 in randomised control trials from almost 2500 patients. Larger prospective trials needed to confirm and extend the research. Vitamin D is a known immune modulator helping to fight infection.

Rheumatoid arthritis RA is a lifelong disease with wide ranging consequences to quality of life. Review of neutrophil extracellular traps NETS in the pathology of RA as potential therapeutic targets. Hope that this line of research could lead on to new approaches to treatment.
