Canada's New Social Media Ban is NOT About Your Children | Here's What They're NOT Telling You

Canada just announced the Digital Safety Act — a social media ban for anyone under 16.

Most Canadians think this is about protecting children. It isn't.

To enforce a social media ban, every single Canadian will have to prove their age by attaching government-approved ID to their social media accounts. That's not child protection. That's a digital ID.

And once you're verified on one platform, that verification follows you everywhere — linking every account you own under your real identity.

But it gets worse.

This isn't a standalone policy. This is the missing piece that connects Bill C-9, C-22 and C-8 into a complete surveillance and censorship system.

Bill C-9 defines what you can and cannot say online. Bill C-22 forces platforms to save your data for up to one year. Bill C-8 gives the government the power to cut you off the internet entirely.

The digital ID created by this social media ban is what connects all three.

And they're selling it to you as child protection.

Don't be fooled. All these bills are interconnected — and this is the last piece of the puzzle.

The Globe and Mail is now running opinion pieces about cutting elderly benefits because Canada faces “crippling debt.”

Perfect.

Not cut bureaucracy.

Not cut consultants.

Not cut foreign aid.

Not cut corporate welfare.

Not cut the Liberal spending machine.

Not cut the political class that created the debt bomb.

No.

Cut grandma.

That is how this always works.

Trudeau, Freeland, Carney, and the Liberal Party help bury Canada under debt.

Then the establishment media starts preparing Canadians for the “unpopular” solution.

The people who built the mess never pay.

The elderly get handed the invoice.

Canada was robbed by incompetence.

Now seniors are being told to sacrifice.

I just spoke with both the media spokesperson from the Sûreté du Québec and André Therrien, the 52-year-old Quebec man seen in a viral police takedown video.

👇🏻 is André Therrien's own footage, which he gave me permission to publish, and which preceded the brutal SQ takedown.

Therrien walks towards the General Dynamics protest. He is loud and confronts the crowd.

His phone then appears to be hit away from his hand as he films. He told me that he secured his phone at that point by putting it away.

The viral footage published by @l3v1at4an shows an SQ officer pushing Therrien several times.

Therrien told me that the SQ officer told him he was trying to keep him safe, told him to leave the protest, and said he did not belong there.

Therrien replied that he had the right to be there, and that if the police wanted to protect him, that they should follow him to the front.

Therrien is then shown walking away from the protest and towards his vehicle.

At that point, he was alone and out of the protest. He said he was given no warning nor instruction before being tackled.

The SQ says André Therrien was arrested for “assault and obstruction” after “aggressive” behaviour at an anti-General Dynamics protest in Valleyfield.

In their media relations email to me, the SQ also underscored that protesters must observe Public Health rules, "During these times of the pandemic," and that police officers have a duty to ensure compliance with various regulations whether they relate to the Highway Safety code, the Criminal Code, the Penal Code, or health measures.

One wonders if tackling a counter-protester from behind who has left a protest, then punching him repeatedly in the torso while his pants are down, are pandemic recommendations to stop the spread of whatever pandemic the SQ thinks we are currently in.
