@JamesHenryChard@SJROShea@JuliaNedenWatts You do realise you are putting all parks in the UK at risk if you set a precedent?
You should be removing the car parking on Twickenham Riverside AND keeping the existing Dimond Jubilee Gardens
Both @CPRELondon and @MPGALondon oppose your scheme
How can you help?

You’ll be joining tens of thousands of others calling on the government to stop dragging its feet and act now for hedgerows. 👇

Our last Saturday session of the year on Ham Lands is next week. Get stuck into some #conservation activities with our dedicated volunteers. No experience necessary but do bring gardening gloves if you have them.

@JamesHenryChard There is huge opposition to the plans in Twickenham as the development doesn't respect the Conservation Area and will have a negative impact on the Riverside & River Metropolitan Open Land.
The Council need to go back to the drawing board
@JamesHenryChard Very dodgy evidence of 'support' their James.
Nowhere do you ask a straight forward do you support the plans yes or no. Only sideways questions designed to trick people.
@michaelgove needs to set up a public enquiry.
@Botanygeek This is the sort of thinking that brought about the man adoption of diesel cars.
Better solutions are to have more food outlets so you don't need to do a weekly shop; only buy what you need; speed up the farm to shop logistics.
We are thrilled that @ham_lands has been named as a ‘thriving’ local group by @RHSBloom. This is a fantastic achievement which wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of volunteers and the fantastic working relationship between the group and @LBRUT
@RogerCrouch1 The playground looks smaller with less play equipment, and no benches.
Not much equipment - nothing for toddlers or older children. No hard surfacing - only sand - will mean its out of use for much of the year.
@AlexanderEhmann@LBRUT@MayorofLondon Looks like the only solution left on the table is to allow residents to drop off waste at the Twickenham waste transfer station.
Otherwise fly tipping is going to mushroom.
[NEWS] We have begun essential conservation works to protect native Black Poplar trees in the borough. There are only an estimated 7,000 remaining in the entire UK and our borough has one of the most important populations in the country.
