I was on @YourMorning yesterday talking about my research project which is a podcast on the Black experience in Kingston! Check it out at the link. | Black experiences in small-town Canada #blackincanada @keepupwithti https://t.co/Xfw0TjVaBD
Insecure series finale has me feeling all of the feelings. Love that issa’s glow up mimicked her glow up irl. And can relate to the driving by milestone memories. So sad it’s over. 😭😭😭 #InsecureSeriesFinale
Really enjoyed learning about the Yellow House @queensu at #cacuss21 What a great way to support students in EDII work on their terms, by building trust and listening to what they need. Loved hearing from all the student leaders!
I felt so much pride presenting on my work at Yellow House alongside my director, Deanna & student leaders at @cacusstweets today. Students shared incredible stories. It really validated the work we are doing to uplift the voices of QTBIPoC students on @queensu campus. #cacuss21
Thank you to @kemi_akapo and @keepupwithti for sharing their thoughts on the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial this morning. A reminder that @CBCOntarioToday is opening up their phone lines after the noon news to hear your thoughts. https://t.co/3tYLsZYzFr
So this is carding on steroids. Did anyone consider how empowering police might impact BIPoC communities who are already historically targeted by police significantly more? This is a hot mess and and example of what happens when all of the people in power look the same.
Reid & Ben: This morning, we chatted with Tianna Edwards of @KeepUpWithKtown about her posts highlighting some of #ygk's great black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.

I had a great chat with @elamin88 for @queensualumni last month. Read about his career since graduating, growing up in Kingston and his new book (our next fall). 🌟 https://t.co/02HrkMQadi
