There's no hierarchy at all: the navigation text looks as big and bold as the main section header--which is also as big and bold as multiple sub-section headers on the right.
Twitter somehow managed to make the new UI spacious and claustrophobic at the same time. It feels like there were multiple teams designing each section in isolation.

Interesting how the “Unsubscribe” pages for spam emails always have instructions on what to do if you “accidentally” removed yourself from their spam list, as though you just “accidentally” clicked on the tiny unsubscribe link that they carefully hide in their junk emails.
I've been eyeing the Google i7 Pixelbook ever since I saw rumors that my current Chromebook might not get Linux support. The adult in me says hold off until the feature hits stable, but the rest is just going "Buy shiny!!"
Clicking a link to an article on the new @googlenews site opens a page that, for some reason, takes more than a few seconds to load before actually redirecting you to the page you wanted to visit. It's so slow that it actually has to show a message saying "Opening <url>".
My internet feels so small these days. I visit a few pages daily (mostly content aggregators) but not much else. I can't remember the last time I actually "discovered" a website.
The new Apple Watch features for @sleepcycle are cool—aside from the fact that it drains most of the watch's battery. You need to sleep with a full charge if you want the new Sleep Cycle features and still have enough battery for an early morning workout.
