Not because the fire isn’t real, but because the One living in you is greater than the fire.
Jesus said it plain: “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” He never promised it would be easy. He just promised He would be with us in it and that the Spirit would be our strength when our own runs out.
