People get jealous when their friends make new friends. And we should expect them to.
@kegwilliams + I got to chat about the blurred lines between this research and life on this podcast👇
@kegwilliams presented work with @JaimieKrems on ecology stereotypes on our perceptions of others. Their work suggests that faces paired with a desperate (vs hopeful) environment impact our life history perceptions! Ecology shapes perceptions of life-history strategy. #NEEPS2022
SO EXCITING! I got to talk to @dr_fraga + the @nytimes about my friendship jealousy research (w @kegwilliams, Laureon Merrie, Doug Kenrick, + @AthenaAktipis).
The great Mark Leary's in it, too!

I tried to sign in to my Amazon Mechanical Turk account. The site sent a verification code to a phone number I don't have anymore so I can't access my account or the credit I have in it. Spent 1 hr in a loop and no one I can talk to.
Is this a thing?

Thoughts on reviewers beginning or ending their review with “I think this paper should(n’t) be published in [this journal]”? I was taught it isn’t my role to make that declaration; should focus instead on pointing out strengths/weaknesses & let the editor reach their conclusion
Really interesting article on how LWOP cases lack a number of safeguards present in death penalty cases, despite also being a ‘death sentence’ for those convicted

I wrote an @SPSPnews post on my recent article w Steve Neuberg in SPPS!
Fat stigma research has focused (v understandably) on *body size* + failed to foreground *body shape.*
But body shape is critical for describing fat stigma toward women👇
Our paper is out in Psych Science!
