My XP with @globalgamejam is that they're the most exclusionary game jam I've ever experienced. You'd think they'd be more concerned about that and less concerned about how a STALWART of #indiegames (not to mention EVERY #gamejam for 15+ yrs) thinks of a particular sponsor.

I just received word that I'm banned from attending certain #gamedev events after having called out Global Game Jam's AI sponsor, I'm not considered "part of the Global Game Jam community" thus my opinion does not matter. Woopsie.

It's 1/16 and I've already helped to launch one game this year and another is in progress. I can't shake the feeling I should keep trying to get helping hands on as many launches as I can this year. How many could I reasonably help? 6? 12? MORE? #indiegamedev

Players have been decrying how shitty the pricing models are for games for DECADES (well, forever, really). But, we've seen the quality on mobile drop over the past 10 years in exchange for the freemium or [1/8]

M2C: I like it. Games are cool. And there's enough of them to monopolize the little time I have to play (mobile is easier for me to find time to play). But, we just dropped Netflix bc $$ and other streaming options w better-right-now content. So, I lost them. [😡/8]
