the Chaos, the Tragedy, the Hope - a Tale of what!
the voices that wail,
the chaos that ensues,
the restlesness that befalls

The ongoings ; A thread
All the records broken by Lionel Messi today:
Most FIFA World Cup finals goals by a football (soccer) player - 18
Most FIFA World Cup matches played in by an individual - 28
Most matches won by a player at the football (soccer) FIFA World Cup - 18
Most minutes played in the football (soccer) FIFA World Cup - 2,489
We are witnessing history.
This person in the video has built a regression model on Lionel Messi’s (@TeamMessi) longevity and scoring ability and according to it Messi is about 8 standard deviations away from the curve (8 sigma). It is so rare in one tailed probability that the chance for someone like Messi to appear in this world is 1 in 1.61 quadrillion meaning Messi is virtually impossible and mathematically infinitesimally rare
To understand how small a 1 in 1.61 quadrillion chance is, compare it to this: Powerball Jackpot gives you a chance of winning the lottery with roughly 1 in 292 million chance. You are about 5.5 million times more likely to win the Powerball jackpot on a single ticket than to see an 8-sigma event
For comparison you can see image with @Cristiano Ronaldo in the next post, who is also an outlier, but the chance of seeing someone like him is way more likely
Lionel Messi’s first @FIFAWorldCup#HatTrick, Argentina’s 3-0 win over Algeria in Group play delivers second-most-watched FIFA Men’s non-USMNT Group Stage telecast in English-language history with 9,082,000 viewers Tuesday on FOX 🏆⚽️📺
Meanwhile Ronaldo as per the rules of football is supposed to miss the first 2 games of this World Cup but the red card was suspended by FIFA to allow him play but watch CR7 fans talking about a possible red card for Messi. When rules were literally bent for their guy.
Lionel Messi has scored more World Cup goals after turning 35 (10) than the following players in their entire careers:
-Cristiano Ronaldo
-Thierry Henry
-Maradona
-Rivaldo
-Neymar
-Harry Kane
Absolutely insane 🤯🐐
Walking through the compound that houses the Kasubi Tombs, the main path leads to what should be an entrance. But it ends at one of the layers of thatch covering the 25-foot structure known as Muzibu Azala Mpanga. It looks like a giant basket turned upside down. If it weren’t for the rows of shoes laid neatly outside, you’d never know there was a way in. https://t.co/VWEBuVooHC
In all my years of cyber education, teaching, research, and experience, I have never heard of anyone blocking a mesh network through node isolation for a mesh that constantly rebuilds and a network topology that has several lines of path.
Uganda successfully neutralised an offline chat app.
Next up: blocking whispers, hand signals, and people talking at boda stages.
A true cyber-defence masterclass. Silicon Valley has firewalls but Uganda has IT students and confidence. Bluetooth never stood a chance. 😂
I’m afraid but @OfficialFUFA & @UPL need to revise these game times or call them off for the safety of our people. This country isn’t yet fully back to normal. Imagine just moving home and a soldier stops you. And they don’t entertain explanations. It’s like they’re allergic to people moving in the night. I’m scared for late night games that end at 10pm. I can’t imagine fans being harassed & beaten or even arrested for putting on RED jerseys for Vipers SC, Kitara FC or Express FC coming from Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo or MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo and mistaking them for the other political party. Boda boda riders for now fear operating beyond 9pm yet it’s the easiest means of transport some of our people use. So, let us not compromise on the safety of our football people. Our lives matter.
