The school was placed on lockdown while officers checked the area. The lockdown has been lifted, and the area is safe for parents to pick up their kids.

Officers were able to arrive quickly at the school, and after thoroughly checking the school, no one was located. There are no reported injuries and no information a shooting occurred.

Officers from @OperationsWest are currently on scene at Flowing Wells High School for the reports of a person with a weapon. We are asking everyone to avoid the area while officers check the school.

The closure is due to an earlier fire off the mainline.
