@danobrien20 “One of the Middle East’s conflicts”?? Its a genocide Dan. And you don’t get more extreme than that. Which is exactly why it is being opposed by Irish people.
@TheNewsAgents Gentle reminder that it’s not just about what the UK government and people want. Brexit was hugely disruptive and costly for EU member states who may now be cautious about UK rejoining.
@ciarannugent@PatrickBury Whatever one’s views, this is poor. Poll commissioned by the Strategic Communications and Advocacy Lab whose stated mission is to create political space and public support for government action and investment in international development and global cooperation. Go figure.
@donmcgowan@SophieRose19x Clear analysis. Thanks. Question: if the party did implode, what would happen to the money (given reform is a limited company)?
@ciarannugent This Q is so poorly structured though. The ‘continue fighting’ option has one outcome: fight to victory. The ‘negotiation’ option leaves any outcome on the table: victory, surrender, partial surrender of territory, revert to pre war borders.
@rshotton Nice one. It’s still quite abstract though, no? So much focus on - and comms investment in - speeds that nobody outside the industry actually understands.
@campbellclaret Really boils my piss that @SkyNews broadcasts almost ALL live WH briefings, when even @cnnbrk ignores most of them. Rambling time filler with no news value.
@megbasham Many of the people in the street are not French. Many are tourists. Just. Like. Her. And yes, even without the tourists Paris is an ethnically diverse city. It’s one of the city’s greatest joys for visitors to experience. It’s not Disneyland.
@AnMailleach@eoinmauricedaly Except, I suspect the pursuit is part of the attraction. In the same way that ASBOs became a badge of honour instead of a deterrent.
