This is the most heartbreaking thing you will read. Those of you peddling conspiracies about this case and baselessly blaming Patrick are actual ghouls.
I was wrong about Lindsay Clancy. Here’s why I changed my mind.
She was never diagnosed with postpartum depression or psychosis. She was not on 13 medications at once. She was not “hearing voices.” She was not abandoned by her family.
She was diagnosed with a mood disorder - never psychosis - and went to a variety of doctors who all prescribed different medications, which she took unreliably and not simultaneously.
She only heard a voice one time - and that was right before she killed her kids. Extremely atypical for psychosis.
She carefully planned her children’s murders down to the minute. She researched the distance of a restaurant she’d ask Patrick to go to. Added on a last-minute errand before he left. Calmly answered his phone call in the middle of her crime. Brought her children down to the basement one by one, overpowering their resistance and killing them slowly.
It does seem like she had support from her family. She may have still been overwhelmed, but it’s not true that all of her cries for help went unanswered.
I originally placed too much blame on the many SSRIs she was prescribed. For years on my show, I’ve talked to health professionals who have been warning about the violence-inducing effects of these drugs, and I thought Lindsay’s case may be an example of that reality.
Is it still possible these SSRIs had a negative effect? Absolutely. But the case that these drove her into a psychotic episode is weak.
This evidence continues to reveal, in my opinion, that Lindsay Clancy methodically murdered her children and she was fully aware of what she was doing.
I was told by women that Patrick Clancey remarried only 4 months after the murders. But he didn't remarry until April 2026 in a small ceremony in NYC.
After the murders, his wife showed no serious concern about the children, so he picked up and moved to build a new life.
He co-founded a no profit organization called the Heard Foundation in 2024 with his sisters Erin and Laura. It was established in memory of his children Cora, Dawson, and Callan, with a focus on improving perinatal mental-health care.
The organization aims to reimagine support for parents facing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including plans for a dedicated treatment center, and has supported projects such as a memorial playground.
I hope Patrick Clancy sues everyone spreading disgusting rumors about him for every last dime they have, becomes FILTHY rich and laughs in all their faces.
Patrick Clancy’s lawyers are officially putting people on notice.
“The facts are indisputable: Patrick Clancy has suffered an unspeakable and unimaginable loss. Unfortunately, the tragedy Patrick has experienced has been compounded by patently false, defamatory, and injurious public statements. The individuals making those statements — from minor influencers to major celebrities — should be on notice that their despicable actions and false, defamatory statements have caused real life consequences to the health and safety of Patrick and his family.”
Read that again: “from minor influencers to major celebrities — should be on notice.”
For months, people online have accused Patrick of horrific things without evidence — while he is the father who lost Cora, Dawson, and Callan.
Lindsay Clancy’s defense acknowledges that Lindsay killed the children. The legal question is her criminal responsibility, not whether Patrick secretly committed the murders.
Question evidence. Question testimony. Question the defense.
But inventing accusations about a grieving father and presenting them as fact is something entirely different.
And now his attorneys are making that very clear.
Someone explain the neurodivergent experience of feeling like I was mentally older than my peers as a child and now feel mentally younger now as an adult.
These are the only victims in the Clancy case. It’s utterly tragic and heartbreaking to imagine their final moments, filled with fear and betrayal, as they looked into the eyes of the woman they trusted most.
Saw a clip of Carol Burnett on TikTok who my nana loved so much. she was her favorite comedian. then I spent the rest of my night in tears thinking about my nana. I miss her 😢
ADHD is so rude. I can spend the entire day THINKING about all the things I need to do, do exactly 0 of them, and still end up going to bed completely burnt out like I worked a 14-hour shift.
