Not every unhappy marriage has a bad husband. Sometimes the wife is the source of the dysfunction, constantly disrespectful, emotionally combative, sexually distant, and never satisfied with anything he does.
Being poor is more expensive than being rich. When you have less money, you pay more for bad credit, high interest, cheap products that break, unreliable transportation and emergencies you cannot afford to prepare for.
Being broke does not just cost you money. It costs you options.
Some women will never tell you this: If she’s had several sexual partners, you may not just be competing with her past. You may be competing with the best experience she’s ever had.
That experience can become her benchmark. And whether she says it out loud or not, she may compare what you bring to what she experienced before.
Life is already hard enough. You shouldn’t have people around you who make it harder. Keep people who feel like home, bring you comfort, calm your mind, and make life feel lighter. Peace is not boring. It’s a blessing.
Happy Birthday to our First Lady, Her Excellency, Mrs. Margaret Obi. ❤️
The grace in her carriage, the warmth of her personality, and the dignity she carries so effortlessly all speak beautifully of the woman she is.
Today, we celebrate and honour you, Ma. We are truly proud of you and grateful for the love, strength, and support you continue to give to our leader, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi.
Thank you for being uniquely you, and for graciously “lending” us your husband as he joins the Nigerian people in the pursuit of a better and New Nigeria.
We cherish you, we celebrate you, and we wish you many more beautiful years filled with joy, good health, peace, and fulfilment.
Happy Birthday, Ma!
“We won’t trust the system to do the right things ahead of 2027.”
~~ Aisha Yesufu.
Thank you for speaking the minds of Nigerians, ma. Nigerians must remain vigilant and demand a transparent electoral process in 2027.
“If I’m elected, I will be the one in charge. Nobody will be speaking on my behalf. I will be answerable to the people for every penny spent. You won’t see me building new buildings where there are already existing ones until we finish building schools.”
— Mr Peter Obi.
I Have Proof Mahmood Yakubu Worked for My Opposition — Peter Obi
In 2023 we took things for granted. We believed INEC. We believed what they said they would do. The INEC Chairman convinced the world that he would do the right thing, when in fact he was working for the opposition.
This time, we will only trust them by doing the right thing ourselves.

“Tinubu has not spent 3 nights in any state in the country. But he spends weeks in holidays outside the country. He should be doing holidays in Zamfara, Borno, Anambra, or elsewhere in the country.”

This is my favorite part of the interview. ✍️
Yesterday we were bored to death with so many useless matches but fear not the GREATEST and most interesting club in the world plays today.
GGMU FOREVER ♾️❤️❤️❤️
“Everything has cøllapsed in Nigeria. As of 1959, Nigeria’s National Shipping Line owned 6 vessels; by 1961, they owned 8 vessels, and it kept increasing. But today, they have no vessel.
I read today in the newspaper that when Emirates Airlines started in 1985, they started with two leased planes. At that time, Nigeria had over 20 planes. But today, Emirates Airlines has over 280 planes, while Nigeria’s own is now zero.
If today you’re critically ill in Nigeria and you go to the hospital, you might likely end up at the mørtuary. That’s why many Nigerians like taking ill people to church instead of hospital.”
— Mr. Peter Obi, speaking during a town hall meeting in Rivers State.
MY VISIT TO PORT HARCOURT
Yesterday, after attending Daily Times at 100th in Abuja, I travelled to Port Harcourt for a rousing reception from our party members, led by our Governorship Candidate in Rivers State, Chief Barr. Dumo Lulu-Briggs. The leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is to attend the NDC Obi-Talks, a Port Harcourt Town Hall.
The town hall provided an opportunity for an open and engaging conversation with the people. Our questions and answers centered on issues that directly affect the lives of Nigerians, including jobs, healthcare, education, security, and economic opportunity.
I reiterated my commitment to investing in the three critical areas that accelerate the development of every nation: education, healthcare, and pulling our people out of poverty.
We examined the experiences of countries that once faced challenges similar to those confronting Nigeria today, and how competent, purposeful, and compassionate leadership transformed their fortunes.
From Bangladesh and its remarkable progress in rice production, to Indonesia and the growth of its SMEs, and India’s efforts at pulling millions of its citizens out of poverty, the lesson is clear: countries succeed when leadership is competent, accountable, focused, and committed to the welfare of the people.
My greatest elation today came from the renewed commitment I saw among the good people of Rivers State to participate massively in the 2027 elections and, more importantly, to ensure that their votes are counted and the people’s mandate is respected.
Let it be recorded that this time around, the people of Rivers State will vote, and their votes MUST count.
Only leaders who emerge from a free, fair, and credible electoral process can truly be called Excellencies. Rivers State can and should set the pace for excellent, free, fair, and credible elections in 2027.
I sincerely thank our Vice Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Senator Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; our host and Governorship Candidate in Rivers State, Chief Barr. Dumo Lulu-Briggs; his team; the Rivers State Working Committee of the NDC; the National Working Committee led by our National Chairman, Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe; and all our friends, supporters, and well-wishers who joined us for this important engagement.
Our task is to rescue Nigeria, rebuild our institutions, and restore hope to our people.
A New Nigeria is Possible, and Nigeria will be OK. -PO
They will definitely try to mess with the IREV, but it will not be business as usual this time. We are going to have so many backups. If their system fails, ours will be up and running. If they claim there are glitches, we will hand them a smooth, glitch free alternative right there. We cannot fold our hands and let them manipulate anything, because if we allow their glitches to continue, it is our own lives and future that will end up ruined.

All those threats must come to an End.
Our votes this time must count.
Whoever that doesn't count our votes this time around, we will count that person.
