->We perceive a situation as stressful due to our beliefs & values.
->We automatically attach meaning to that situation.
->That meaning tells us what to think & feel.
->Weโre conditioned to respond to those thoughts & feelings using food.

1. Do I have enough information to be worrying about this?
2. Will thinking about this now actually better equip me to handle it if it does happen?
Why the ALL OR NOTHING mentality is so hard to break: it fulfills the core human need of CERTAINTY.
Do it all = certain of the result.
Donโt do anything = certain of the result.
The middle ground breeds uncertainty.
When the outcome is unpredictable, itโs uncomfortable!
