California resident exposes what’s really going on with Flock Cameras in America

“I want to be clear what these cameras actually are, and I say that with somebody with 20 years of experience in IT. I've served as the chief network architect for Fortune 500 companies, I've designed data centers, and today I work on cloud infrastructure for one of the largest loan origination companies in the country. I'm not speculating on how this technology works. I've read their patents and I know how it works.

Flock advertises these cameras as simple license plate readers. But their own patents tell a different story.

They're AI-powered surveillance machines that capture every passing vehicle and person and transmit that data to a private corporate cloud, making it queryable by a multitude of state and federal agencies. The city of Corona does not control that database, and Corona residents have no public record rights against a private company's servers. Our daily movements are being harvested by a $7.5 billion corporation, that only answers to venture capital investors, not to us. Flock did not reach that valuation on their per-camera subscription fees. That math doesn't add up

The city council should also understand who they're doing business with. Flock CEO was asked whether the company had any federal contracts. He said no. That was a lie.

Public records revealed that Flock had been secretly running a pilot program giving the US Border Patrol access to local police camera data without the knowledge of the cities that paid for the cameras.

Now consider who's behind the company and where your data flows. Flock integrates directly with Palantir, a data fusion platform, with a $30 million contract with ICE. Peter Thiel, the founder of Palantir, is also one of Flock's primary investors. These are not separate companies with separate agendas. They are connected actors that are building a connected infrastructure.

Palantir's own CEO stated publicly just this month that his technology is being used as a political instrument, designed to reduce the political power of certain voters. And that's the ecosystem that our Corona cameras are feeding into.

We're not anti-police at all. We're against mass surveillance of innocent residents by a company with a documented record of deception, built by investors with a stated political agenda. We're asking the City Council to start auditing the queries made against Flock's database, to disclose any data sharing agreements, and to take a vote to cancel the Flock safety contract”

Patents describe broader object detection, including tracking people and pedestrians, patents like US11416545B1. The system uses a centralized cloud database for nationwide queries

Data goes to Flock’s private cloud, AWS-based, encrypted. Nationwide lookup is common, 75%+ of customers are enrolled enabling cross-jurisdictional searches. Residents have no direct public records access to the corporate servers.

This creates a mass surveillance network feeding a private company’s infrastructure

If you ask me this is laying the infrastructure for a mass surveillance network in America. We are being lied to. Cancel all contracts nationwide

Hennepin County just declined felony charges against Jake Lang.
The left is losing its mind.

Last Saturday Lang showed up outside Minneapolis City Hall for what he called a free-speech rally. Counterprotesters packed the block. Two vehicles ended up on the sidewalk. Lang stood in the bed of a pickup with a sign the media will not print. A Minneapolis officer was struck by a vehicle and released from the hospital. A counterprotester dressed as Spider-Man climbed into the truck and started throwing punches. Police arrested Lang, his security, and several others on suspicion of riot.

Then the evidence came in.
Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty is not on Lang’s side. She is a progressive Democrat. She made sure to remind everyone that Lang spent four years in prison for January 6 and was pardoned by Trump. She called his weekend conduct “despicable and disgusting.” And then she declined the felonies anyway.

Because felony riot requires proof, beyond a reasonable doubt, of an intentional threat of unlawful force. Felony assault requires intent. Minneapolis police had already coordinated with Lang’s security detail. Texts even warned that driving on the sidewalk was illegal. The officer who was hit wrote that he did not believe the driver saw him. Moriarty said there was no path to prove the required intent.

That is how the law is supposed to work.
The left wanted a different outcome. They wanted Lang locked up on a felony because they hate him. When they did not get it, they turned on Mayor Jacob Frey for letting police keep a mob off him. Meanwhile the Spider-Man attacker, William Nicholas Love, got a misdemeanor assault charge and a fundraiser calling him an “antifascist superhero.”

See the pattern.
If the crowd is left-wing, it is “protest.” If the speaker is right-wing, it is “riot.” Charge first. Invent the intent later. When a prosecutor finally admits she cannot prove the case, they call it a betrayal.

Lang still has other cases hanging over him in St. Paul and Texas. This decision does not make him a hero. It does not clean up his record. It only says one thing: you do not get to manufacture a felony because you dislike the man holding the microphone.

They wanted a political conviction.
They got a legal standard.
That is why they are furious.

In 1786 Thomas Jefferson and John Adams asked the Tripoli ambassador why Barbary corsairs attacked nations that had done them no injury.

The answer, recorded by Jefferson, was blunt: it was written in the Quran that nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, that it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave them, and that every Muslim slain in that warfare was sure of Paradise.

That was not a rogue interpretation invented in 2001. It was the operating ideology of four North African states that lived off tribute, ransom, and Christian slaves. Jefferson refused the tribute, built a navy, and sent Marines “to the shores of Tripoli.” The raids stopped.

Two centuries later the numbers look like this:

57 OIC member states.

Roughly 50 Muslim-majority countries, most of them products of the last 100 years.

About half constitutionally declare Islam the state religion.

Blasphemy and apostasy laws remain common; Pew and USCIRF data show the highest government restrictions and social hostilities clustered in these states.

Openly theocratic regimes (Iran, Taliban Afghanistan) plus designated terrorist groups (Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS remnants, al-Qaeda affiliates, Houthis, Boko Haram) still treat religious and cultural outsiders as legitimate targets.

9/11 and October 7 were not anomalies. They were the latest, bloodiest applications of a doctrine that treats non-submission as casus belli.

Most individual Muslims are not Barbary pirates. Most OIC countries are not Iran. That is not the point. The point is that a supremacist reading of the same texts that justified enslaving American sailors in 1801 still produces states and non-state actors that are systematically hostile to religious pluralism.

Jefferson’s response was not seminars. It was a Naval/Marine squadron and a refusal to pay. The lesson has not expired.
