Harriers are pleased to confirm a deal has been agreed to sign striker Lewis Walker from 1st July.
Lewis was Braintree Town's top scorer in the National League last term and becomes Paul Wotton's latest signing.
Welcome, Lewis!

This World Cup feels proper half arsed. Half empty stadiums. Stopping for drinks. Pitches so hot it’s being played at a snails pace. Not impressed so far…
Here’s the problem. The liberal political class wants us to treat atrocities like Belfast as single, random, isolated incidents. “Yes, it’s horrific, but don’t overreact,” they say. “Let the police do their job. Justice will be delivered. Let’s remain united,” and so on.
But the public can see that such incidents *aren’t* random or isolated. They are, in fact, all the consequence of massive state failure in the area of asylum and immigration. All roads lead back there.
That’s why people are angry.. They are sick of the platitudes that get trotted out after each fresh incident. They don’t want to hear them anymore. They know that the decisions of establishment politicians have brought us to this current pass, and they don’t trust those same politicians to fix things, especially when some of them refuse to even recognise that the public’s anger is justified.
There has been a huge vibe shift in recent years. Imagine - God forbid - there were another 7/7. Does anyone think the public response would be anything like as restrained as it was then? We are in really dangerous territory.
The public don’t want flowers and candles and “Don’t let them divide us.” They want someone who says, “I recognise that the state has failed abjectly. We have allowed far too many people to settle in the country without knowing who they truly are. It has disrupted your communities. Your anger is justified. And I will do everything in my power to put things right.”
Any politician unwilling to articulate that message, fully and sincerely, is effectively sanctioning more years of growing social disharmony and discord. Things cannot heal until those in power recognise the extent of the problem and what it will take to fix it. And, on both counts, most of them don’t.
That’s why the next few years are going to be very, very turbulent.
I have no idea why this is controversial🤣🤦🏼♀️
So what if @luke11campbell & @AndyBurnhamGM think the other is a decent guy? Isn’t that a good thing🤷♀️
We need more cross party working, more positive outcomes & a bit more decency…
If we had that 🇬🇧 would be in a better place
The incredibly brave @siobhan1437154 , mother of Rhiannon Skye Whyte, who was brutally and savagely murdered by an invader who shouldn't have been in OUR country, housed in the hotel where she worked.
Leaving her young son without a mother.
Get them out.
Put our people first!
Today people coming to London for the Unite The Kingdom rally will be monitored with facial recognition cameras by the Metropolitan Police.
The pro-Palestinian rally that's taking place right alongside it will not.
Keir = Two Tier.
Some corrections:
You inherited 2% inflation. It doubled in 12 months after you became Chancellor. It is still 50% above the rate you inherited and 50% above target. It should fall to target 2% this summer. So two years to get back to where you started! What’s to boast about that?
Interest rates have been falling everywhere. UK cuts, which you don’t control, have been fewer and smaller because of your inflation record. We still have highest interest rate in G7. The Bank has made some cuts for the simple reason the economy is flat on its back. Well done.
Borrowing is slowly falling from a very high base. Almost six years after the pandemic-induced recession, we’re still borrowing around 4% GDP. And borrowing costs are the highest in the G7.
Retail sales are up in recent months. We’ll see how long that’s sustained. But the hospitality and construction industries are in crisis. Plus our massive services sector is stagnant.
UK fastest G7 economy? That’s simply a bare-faced lie. We grew by 0.1% in Q3 2025; and another 0.1% in Q4. End of.
My 5 year old boy does football training. At the end of the session they do a ‘man of the match’ type thing.
My boy is always desperate to win it. He often doesn’t.
I explained to him the other day that he didn’t win simply because he wasn’t good enough. That he deffo could win, but he just needs to be better, try harder, be more focused etc.
One of the other mums heard me & was aghast at what I said. She told me she is going to get ‘runner-up stickers’ for all the kids who don’t make it.
I said no thanks, not for my son.
Kids need to learn that they can be the best, but they must apply themselves & dust themselves off when it doesn’t go their way. No consolation prizes, no ‘everyone’s a winner’ etc. There are winners & losers. Wanna win - do your best. Can’t make it? Don’t worry, go & smash something else. Play to your strengths & never, ever play the victim.
If more parents & institutions had this attitude, the country would be in a better place - if I say so myself 😉

So far Starmer’s efforts to save his skin have been a classic case study in how not to save your skin:
The most unpopular Labour PM in history (Starmer) calls in aid the second most unpopular Labour PM in history (Brown).
With most Labour MPs despising you and willing to grant you, at most, a civilised stepping down over some months, you say you’ll be in power for a decade. Labour MPs’ worst nightmare.
You commission a propaganda film of you, Brown, Rachel Reeves and Harriet Harman looking smug and self-satisfied in the Downing Street garden, complete with meaningful music. How divorced from public opinion can you be?
You signal you’re fresh out of new blood (Brown? Harman?) and new ideas (getting close to the EU is the best you can come up with — hardly a game changer).
You think a ‘reset’ speech (again!) can turn things round? You’re truly delusional.
THE END.
What have I been saying for the last number of months? That people are disgusted, angry and fed up with the PM and this government. Angry at policy decisions that have made their lives harder, delivered with all the conviction and aplomb of a robot. Angry at the entitlement and the hypocrisy that they don't play by the rules. Overnight, this is all coming out in the wash. Time to listen.
Taxes
OH …UNITED KINGDOM
This is very interesting.
If I give you £1 billion and you stand on a street corner handing out £1 per second, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, you would still not have handed out £1 billion after 31 years!
Now read on. This is true and rather hard to really understand.
The next time you hear a politician use the word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.
1. A billion seconds ago, it was 1959.
2. A billion minutes ago, Jesus was alive.
3. A billion hours ago, our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
4. A billion days ago, no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
5. A billion Pounds ago was only 13 hours and 12 minutes, at the rate our present government is spending it.

Not one of these taxes existed 60 years ago, and our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world.
We had absolutely no national debt.
We had the largest middle class in the world. A criminal’s life was uncomfortable. What on earth happened?
All the best to the boys today, give it your all! To the kiddy faithful let Aggborough be as loud as possible and give the boys that extra push 💪🏾 @khfcofficial 🦅🔴⚪️
