I recently worked with @ConversationUS to write a research brief on my recent publication, describing how we use PNA to tackle drug-resistant bacteria!
We are proud to publicly announce the MIT Graduate Student Union! MIT grad student-workers are unionizing to create a healthy and fair working and learning environment for all, by giving us a voice in the decisions that affect us. (1/4) #MITGSU
Welcome @Keller_124, our wonderful labmate and researcher! We talk about intracellular infections, or infections where the bacteria enter mammalian cells. We bring back the T3SS, Salmonella, bone infections, and how this all relates back to AMR!

Antibiotic resistance is one of the biggest public health threats in the world. New research, however, may have found a way to keep up with rapidly evolving bacteria.
@GradBuffs PhD candidate @KristenEller9 shares more about this on @ConversationUS. ⤵

Viele #Antibiotika wirken recht unspezifisch gegen Bakterien. Die Forscherin @Keller_124@CUBoulder stellt einen Ansatz vor, der es ermöglichen soll, in kurzer Zeit maßgeschneiderte Antibiotika aus synthetischer RNA herzustellen. Via @ConversationUS. #AMR https://t.co/JKrt92jJKq
seeing case numbers rise and vaccinated people test positive is really fueling the flames of my burnout
it's hard to put your head down and work under the guise that "everything is back to normal" when it's obviously not
Similarly, I hate it when I disclose my anxiety to people and they brush it aside as a necessary result of my field or current career path.
If anxiety and depression are common in a field we need to change the field not blame the person!
