@TalkingHighbury Depends on price, Vini has 3-4 years of his best left in him, Barcola probably double that. I wouldn’t pay anymore than £80M for Vini, would go to £100M for Barcola
@fkhanage Really… unless we can get him for cheap, it seems crazy to break the bank for a player that in my opinion has already had his best years. Why not go for barcola who is just about to hit his peak, not to mention all the drama that vini bings along with him
@TalkingHighbury Good player, but wouldn’t massively overpay. Another player on the edge of burnout from overplaying. I would go for Kone from Roma instead, has been very good this World Cup and would cost a lot less.
@AFCAMDEN Rice is having to cover 2 positions atm, no wonder he is shattered. He has to be the driving force on that left side and cover in the middle when Zubi gets over run or caught up field. Stick him at the base, put Eze in the left 8 and bench Zubi. Also bin white and Martinelli
@AFCAMDEN I think it’s more psychological than physical. Was evident again on Saturday, so many sloppy mistakes made turning the ball over. Which is down to nerves. We look tired because we are having to work harder to get the ball back after we keep giving it away so easily.
@AFCAMDEN I think the biggest conversation needs to be about midfield. Once again yesterday Newcastle were pouring through the centre of the park at will. I think we need to pull Rice into the holding role, Zubi just isn’t physical enough. Then play Eze as the left 8.
@AFCAMDEN We’re so blunt in attack. Martinelli just runs around in circles, Saka is still miles off it, Gyok is a championship player, and we have no creativity in midfield. Pretty worrying
@AFCAMDEN@SVCarbaholic Moments that changed the game for me, obviously the goals. But when Mosquera came on, we looked so much more secure. He pushed Spence right back into his own half, and secured that whole right hand side, which was probably Tottenhams most effective outlet. Need to use him more
@AFCAMDEN I don’t blame him we didn’t win the game. But the reality is moments like that can win you titles. If we want to win the league this year, we need our players to be ruthless and take those chances.
@AFCAMDEN I’d be tempted to swap Zubi for Noregard. I think Zubi has been found wanting both physically and positionally recently. Plus Noregard was playing some lovely forward passing last night which setup 2 or 3 really good chances
