@LIRR 8 cars again this evening on the 542 Babylon train when most people work til 5pm. How does this make sense? How is this safe, people crammed up the aisles and standing in bathrooms? There were 10 cars on the 442!

@LIRR understood that the reduced schedule is necessary. Also understood that trains need to be local. But why would you ever think 8 cars is acceptable?!? Cars are packed where people are standing in bathrooms and we're only half way to Penn!

@LIRR I'm really tired of paying almost $280 per month, standing my entire ride home Tues- Thurs. most weeks, and essentially taking a local train home to Zone 7. When are express trains coming back?!?!

@LIRR how is 8 cars ok to Wantagh when it runs local from Jamaica?!? The seats in this are not correct. I'm sitting in 7112 & people are standing. Fix this sched. Tired of spending so much $ to use this service only to stand for an hour. The longer commute is bad enough @Newsday

Thanks for nothing @LIRR. I still have the same shitty extra long commute everyday even with the new schedule. When are express trains to Penn and direct trains from Babylon to Atlantic terminal coming back between 7am and 8am?

@LIRR there is no getting used to these new schedules. The loss of express trains, lack of seats and longer commutes just sucks. I wish I had other options so I could abandon this torture. @GovKathyHochul @chuckschumer

@TheLIRRToday @LIRR I had a similar issue this week. Caught a GC train to get to work early. Missed my Atlantic term connection because my train was late. Only GC trains were showing up, no Penn or Atlantic term connection for another 15 min. Wound up getting to work at my norm time, not early.

@AlfonsoReports @Newsday And what do we get in return for these hikes?!? A horrible new commuting schedule, longer commutes due to eliminated express trains, and crowded peak trains. Not to mention those running from platform 1 to platform 12 at Jamaica because they use Atlantic Terminal! @GovKathyHochul

@MTA @LIRR why is the 7:41am from bellmore 8 cars?!? 4 stops to go and people are standing in the aisle of the old trains... where there's nothing to hold on to!
