Minnesotans support the SAVE Act!

It's time for the U.S. Senate -- including Amy Klobuchar -- to support the SAVE Act so President Trump can sign it into law.

In February, I joined more than six dozen of my fellow Minnesota legislators in signing onto a letter asking that U.S. Senate Majority Leader Thune urge all of his Republican colleagues to take immediate steps to pass the SAVE Act.

We now have national polls AND a Minnesota poll showing strong support for requiring all voters to show government-issued photo ID.

Mandating verifiable proof of citizenship -- which is a key component of the SAVE Act -- is essential to safeguarding voter eligibility and enhancing public confidence in our elections.
