Kroger promised to end battery cages like these in its supply chain by 2025.
It then broke that promise. It did so to save 1–2 cents per egg in costs.
Today most eggs sold at Kroger come from factory farms like this. Around 8 million hens are stuck in cages just to stock Kroger's shelves.
Amazon, Costco, Sprouts, McDonald's, and Subway have all moved away from these cages.
But Kroger says this is what its consumers want. Tell them it's wrong.
While the action on screen can be intense and entertaining, the real story is that most shark populations are under pressure from overfishing, bycatch, habitat loss, and the shark fin trade.
So enjoy Shark Week. Get hyped.
Just don’t let it scare you.
@end3of6days9@GnosisWolf The Nirvana poster is many years early, I know we didn’t have the blinds with the rotational rod at least until the late 80’s/90’s
@NateTWN@weathernetwork@MurphTWN Pretty!

Rowdy, a 26-year-old gelding (about 80 in human years) owned by Melinda Miller, enjoys natural hydrotherapy each summer at Lake Pleasant, Arizona.
He swims and floats in the lake to relieve his arthritis. The buoyancy of the water provides joint relief without the impact of land exercise.
One year his owner added a floatie over his head. Rowdy learned to relax comfortably without his head submerging.
Videos of the senior horse floating have made him a local celebrity.
🤯 Rare “mermaid birth” caught on camera:
A baby was born completely enclosed in the intact amniotic sac, floating inside a translucent bubble like something out of a movie. This only happens in about 1 in 80,000 births and is more common in C-sections.
In many cultures across Europe and Russia, being “born in the caul” is seen as a sign of good luck or even special abilities.
One of the coolest things you’ll see today.
Sharing the water with sharks is awesome. A few ways to make it great for everyone:
- Move slowly. Calm, steady movement signals you belong here.
- Know their schedule. Dawn and dusk are peak feeding hours
- Skip the flashy jewelry.
- Just watch.

Big eats little.
Whale sharks can stretch over 40 feet long — and they survive entirely on some of the smallest organisms in the ocean.
Have you ever been in the water with one? 👇

This is rock star Jon Bon Jovi — this is not a fake. His personal net worth is $410 million, and he washes trays and dishes at his own restaurant chain, Soul Kitchen in Newark, New Jersey, which he created for the homeless, where they can eat for free forever.
These are the real influencers.
A true idol. 🎸
For Rob, it was never about fear. It was about truth. Sharks have been here for millions of years, and his life’s work was helping the world see them as they really are.
