@mcmailhiot 10 mg/kg because this dose is more consistent with previous
literature. We started off with 5 mg/kg to see how the rats were handling it with intentions to increase the dosage, but found that the rats were not gaining the expected weight so it was best to stick to 5 mg/kg.
Hello everyone! I'm delighted to present my undergraduate thesis. My research investigated the effects of gestational exposure to THC and environmental enrichment on anxiety behaviours and neuronal spine densities! Looking forward to seeing all your posters! #aoputc2020
@mcmailhiot Hi Madison! One possible explanation could be potential odours that remained on the maze between testing. Despite our efforts to clean it after every trial, rats have a very strong sense of smell so they could have picked up scents from previous subjects and moved accordingly.
Excited to present my thesis on the effects of gestational THC exposure on adolescent rodent brain development (specifically dendritic spine density in the dentate gyrus) and anxiety-related behaviour! Incomplete data collection due to COVID; existing data discussed. #aoputc2020
We investigated the effects of prenatal THC exposure on depressive behaviour in adolescent rats, as well as effects on neuron morphology. Unfortunately neural data collection was halted due to COVID; behavioural results and anticipated neural results are described #aoputc2020
