When being anonymous is easier than ever, that there are important principles involved in not wearing a mask and being true to the faith. - Quentin L. Cook
@OzraeliAvi@TheOfficerTatum If you want a good explanation of why he is hands-off on Candace, listen to his interview on Triggernometry. She’s family for him and, even though he disagrees with her, sometimes preserving a relationship trumps making a public denunciation. He’s not blind, he’s bound.
@TheTriarii@JeffreyThayne@badtothebone124@Manhattva I generally like his video content (the presentation isn’t always my cup of tea) and find him to be faithful to the leadership of the Church. This video struck a good balance of what is assignment (deacons pass the sacrament) and what is doctrine (priests and MP administer/bless)
@GavinNewsom I really dislike Trump but hearing “This is what dictators do” from the same guy who told us we had to socially distance and stay home while he and his friends went to the French Laundry is pretty galling.
EXCLUSIVE: We've obtained photos of Governor Gavin Newsom at the Napa dinner party he's in hot water over. The photos call into question just how outdoors the dinner was. A witness who took photos tells us his group was so loud, the sliding doors had to be closed. 10pm on @FOXLA
@joyinbecomingp1 I wish someone had asked this guy, “Just to clarify and check for your consistency, if I create a church and call it the Fundamentalist Catholic Church and proceed to do some crazy, illegal things, you’re going to blame the Catholic Church for the things my church does?”
justified. The vast majority of Americans on the other side of the ideological divide are not terrorists or criminals. They are people like us who happen to see certain contentious issues differently. - Arthur C. Brooks
“Contempt is impractical and bad for a country dependent on people working together in politics, communities, and the economy. Unless we hope to become a one-party state, we cannot afford contempt for our fellow Americans who simply disagree with us. Nor is contempt morally
“A civic theology is a doctrine…of how Jesus would want us to behave-not just in our community, not just rebuilding the homes when the hurricane strikes-but how we behave, for example, on social media, how we comport ourselves in politics.” https://t.co/iW15D7blD8
My dear friends, I have always found so much joy in the beautiful Christmas hymns that testify of Jesus Christ’s sacred birth and divine mission.
Whether your voice is young or old, we can all join the angels who sang rejoicing on that “silent night” so long ago, even as we look forward to the day He will come again.
I love you all and wish you “heavenly peace,” not only at Christmas but every day as we strive to walk the path of discipleship.
@LatterDayCool “This is a major challenge to us in the Church and I believe that, until we fully engage in the foyer, we’ll never have the reverence we seek in the chapel.” - Neil L. Andersen

The first one is the Training that happens the week before each Gen Conf and will give you a good idea what is on the minds of our leaders.
The second has Getting Started and Responsibilities that will help you.
@socialiststeve6 I honestly wish that lenders would help people work out “here’s what to pay to eliminate the debt in x years” because it’s just crappy to not help people get it paid off.
@LDSMormon In 1970/1971 there were 715 incidents of terror in the US including hundreds of bombings. (https://t.co/6ZIVIvNJ1q)
I agree that things are gonna be tense next year & maybe even crazy, but I think we sometimes lack perspective on how crazy things have been in our own lifetimes.
@benjaminpacini Don’t know that it should be some kind of gov’t mandate, but it would be nice if social media co’s engrained verification somehow in their algorithm. Make verified folks more prominent or something.
