I voted against Donald Trump for the third time.

And for the third time I’m wondering why someone like Donald Trump is on the ballot.

Hi @NoahKahan ! Would you be able to share my 3rd grade classroom wishlist? My students ask for instrumentals of "Noah" as background music. Would love a push for our list! We love you. https://t.co/5tJxu8hw3T

So the judges failed to rank Jordan Chiles’ floor routine difficulty accurately.

USA submitted an inquiry to fix this (four seconds late supposedly).

The judges accepted the inquiry anyway & updated Jordan’s score.

They made TWO mistakes & now want to take Jordan’s medal?

No.

ALERT: Do any Massachusetts/New England teachers have an Amazon wish list?

Reply to this tweet with a link to the list and information on the grade and school the classroom supplies would go to so people can help and support.

Help teachers clear their lists.

Thinking about joining the cicadas this summer and just screaming for six weeks straight. You?

Repeat after me:
"English Language Learners are entitled to receive their mandated services under their status of ELL and these ELL services should not preclude them from also receiving explicit reading instruction, reading support, or special education services if needed. It is not a binary choice."

There might be many logistic reasons to do so, but none of those reasons will help these students close their reading gaps and for the most vulnerable of students this almost certainly places them in a loop of significant academic struggle.
Choices like that are not supported by any scientific research.
If you bring a child to the doctor with three different types of wounds no doctor would say let's just attend to the most visible one. Right? Instead, the doctor would say let's attend to all wounds and the risks that each of these wounds poses. It should not be any different when it comes to reading and ELL students.

I really just can’t understand how this is our reality…. AGAIN. There tens of millions of eligible candidates for presidency & the best we can find is two white men pushing 80 to run the supposed greatest country in the world??? I’m sorry, it’s pathetic

@LearningIn203 And it cannot be just part of the block/class! The language needs don’t disappear or lessen in different parts of the day

they won't tell you this but the secret to life is having little sleepovers with your friends and reading your books in bed and waking up and getting coffee like an old married couple
