What a day. After nearly 5 hours of waiting on the West End Overlook, I finally got the view I was hoping for. An absolutely incredible double rainbow filled the sky over #Pittsburgh, towering high into the colorful sky. One of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen in this city
What a sunrise in #Pittsburgh today. While the color was spectacular (and you'll see those images later) the way the light cut through the buildings and lingering fog on the rivers after the sun was up was just incredible. Was like something out of a movie.
There are just so many different ways to frame #Pittsburgh with the trees along the North Shore, and this one from last weekend is up there as a favorite. With the sunlight illuminating the path, tree branches, and city, it really makes it look like you're walking into a painting
Snow falling while there are still leaves on the trees can make for beautiful images. This is probably my favorite combination of the two that I've ever captured in #Pittsburgh, with the bright red standing out against the dusting of snow on the West End.
So this is what I drew with the prompt “the language of medicine.” A heart translating devastating diagnoses into supportive words and phrases and disseminating them along with beauty and nature and grace.
The light over #Pittsburgh as the storms rolled in today was straight up insane, like there was a spotlight on downtown...it almost looks photoshopped. A rainbow or lightning strike over the city would've made this an all-time favorite for me, but it's definitely still up there.
