I watched the video of Sheyi Vodi advising Pela to go back to school to boost his self-confidence.

I actually agree with the advice.

The only question is: what kind of education?

This is where I think many people get it wrong.

If Peller decides to attend a university, it should be mainly for certification. There’s value in being able to say, “I’m a graduate,” and having the certificate to back it up.

But if the goal is to become Educated?

more knowledgeable, confident, and intellectually sharp,

I don’t think a traditional university curriculum is enough.

What he needs is exposure.

He needs to read widely, travel, meet different kinds of people, and commit to lifelong self-education.

Read books on psychology, communication, negotiation, finance, leadership, history, business, and personal development. Those are the books that expand your thinking and help you grow.

Then He should have a mentor compulsory

If you ask any truly knowledgeable person how many books they’ve read outside their school curriculum.

You’ll discover that self-education is often what separates informed people from everyone else

The difference is always self education

When I was 21, I had already read well over 100 self-help and personal development books.

Much of what I know today still comes from the ideas I learned during those years.

I still read today

But work leaves little time for reading, but those books continue to pay dividends.

The internet, AI, and endless content have made information easier to access, but they’ve also made many people consume more and study less.

Too many young people scroll all day but rarely sit down to read a complete book.

Since money is no longer Peller’s biggest challenge, investing in his mind should be his next priority.

If he wants the certificate, then yes, go to university.

But if he wants real growth, confidence, and wisdom, self-education will take him much further than the classroom alone.
