@RyanShead He's allowed to do that. Out of curiosity, have you seen the plans? I'm genuinely curious. It might be worse, or it might be better. For our country's sake, I hope it's an improvement...and I intend to reserve judgement until I have more information.

I mean this genuinely. Thank you for giving me reasonable arguments against Trump and MAGA. It is having the opposite effect than you intend, but I'm dealing with steel man arguments. I disagree with your application, but I do appreciate the thoughtfulness. I do wish there was more actual debate on Holy Post because there are reasonable arguments from sincere Christians on the opposite side of this. But I understand. Reasonable debate isn't as satisfying as "destroy them" or "Trump is a narcissist." I disagree, but am grateful for someone lovingly giving me a counterpoint.

This article is well written, but has such a condescending tone it's hard to take the author seriously. Take a look at the article. She's right about the triviality of a restaurant changing a logo. But the obvious criticism of anyone who cherishes nostalgia or decides to vote Republican is the epitome of someone who participates in nostalgia while also criticizing it. I wish the Democrats would take a look at the good and the bad of the Republican party. Both are there to find. It's too bad they will go to such great lengths to criticize obviously good things to spite a party they disagree with. And yes, Uncle Herschel was a really cool guy.
