🔹 Now the U.S. Department of Justice is demanding answers about how Michigan is ensuring noncitizens are kept off the voter rolls, warning that knowingly allowing ineligible registrations or votes could expose election officials to criminal liability.

The Secretary of State’s job is to faithfully execute election law—not rewrite it, ignore it, or test the limits of it in court.
