The filmmakers have clearly tried to repurpose the Lindsey Graham exposé as an “October Surprise” against Darline because he died before they could release it but it’s really not clear what any of this has to do with her. This might backfire.
It's a no-brainer if you live in CT - vote for Good Party -it cares about the marginalised, ordinary people, not just the wealthy. See what Brett has taken on and the results - including the Tafelberg case. Make CT affordable.
Cape Town's dirty tariff secret revealed - Brett Herron https://t.co/EZ55baw04E
The president called an African country a ‘shit house’ on camera. I remember the old days - his first term! - when calling African countries ‘shit holes’ was a huge controversy that had to be denied.
We have normalized his Neo-Nazism now. Lucky us.
“If your name is Herman Mashaba, you’re a one-trick pony. You only talk about one thing. @HermanMashaba what about the roads? ‘You know I want to deal with these illegal immigrants.’ Herman, what about the city’s finances? ‘No, I’m gonna deal with these illegal immigrants.’” Rise Mzansi President Songezo Zibi
“Herman, there’s a debate. Oh no, sorry, I can’t come. I’ll send Ayanda to speak for me.” @SongezoZibi
The geopolitical turbulence that has driven global fuel prices upwards shows no signs of abating. Whereas consumers in the global north arguably have the resources to absorb the financial pain, South Africa’s fragile economy affords consumers precious little wriggle-room.
All South Africans, not just those who drive their own cars, are directly impacted by fuel prices, be it through paying more for food and consumer goods, or public transport.

Minister of Human Settlements Thembi Simelane has ordered the City of Cape Town to halt its proposed sale to a private developer of a valuable piece of land acquired nine years ago with funds meant to relieve severe congestion in Dunoon.

Cape Town’s Airbnb surge exacerbating the housing crisis — what are political parties proposing?
With an estimated over 22,000 active listings, Cape Town now hosts more Airbnbs than Singapore, San Francisco and Amsterdam combined. https://t.co/Lb72WDmvJo
After spending much of last night disagreeing with Neera at Georgetown for @AJHeadtoHead, I actually agree with her on this. It’s literally insane to be, right now, protesting Mamdani - and not Trump, or Rubio or Vance or the Israeli ambassador - over the Gaza genocide.
The State is responsible for managing immigration and must implement the laws of the country. Ceding law enforcement responsibilities to the likes of Cilliers Brink and March and March enables anarchy, vigilantism and conservative nationalism.
The partial reply to my PAIA application confirmed my recollection…the City’s information officer confirmed that Annandale Farm was purchased using USDG funds.
1. The DA still seems not to understand their constitutional duty when it comes to public land & housing;
2. The land was acquired to address the housing crisis in Dunoon;
3. The current tender to sell the land has a non-binding affordable housing request;
4. It’s unconscionable that land acquired, using conditional grants earmarked for housing solutions for the poor, is being sold off to the highest bidder.
I built a search tool for the 2026 local elections over the weekend.
Ask any keyword question and it shows you what each party's manifesto actually says about that topic with their own words.

GOOD’s leadership has informed the Executive Mayor and City Manager of the City of Tshwane that Sarah Mabotsa’s membership of the party has been terminated, and that she should be removed as a Councillor and therefore as the MMC for Economic Development.
Nine years ago, the City of Cape Town used national funds intended for Dunoon housing to buy Annandale Farm in Milnerton. Zero homes were built. Now, a PAIA application confirms the City is selling the land to a private developer for a R71m profit. Public land belongs to the people, not private developers.
