@ryannovoNHL Marky looked shaken up after the goal to make it 3-2 and didn’t stay on the ice after the W like goalies usually do. Looked like he was laboring on his way off the ice.

Launches a flat and slightly uphill path, driving this baseball over the center fielder’s head for a standup triple.

Interesting look at switch hitting SS. Solid stick with good bat to ball skills on both sides.

@CraigHelfgott Completely agree. Doumolin solidifies the left side defensively. He has playoff experience. Steep price unfortunately but had to be done.
@CraigHelfgott I’d be fine with that too. Would likely push Holmes to the pen which I’m fine with. Gives the Mets a solid group to set up Diaz. Holmes, Minter, Butto. Would be happy to see Stanek return too.
@CraigHelfgott I agree. I won’t believe he’s gone until he actually signs elsewhere and anyone who thinks Winker is the pivot from Pete is wrong. No chance that’s the case. Could be part of the pivot if they trade marte or mcneil for a bat, but not the whole pivot offensively.
