Communications Minister Anika Wells has an extraordinary Freudian slip while trying to sell the ‘Digital Duty of Care’ bill to the public:
“We are controlling freedom of speech.”
Every single person in Australia that works their ring out needs to watch this video then share it far and wide on all social's because we are getting absolutely shafted , 2000 staff 83 of them earn between $200k and $300k to answer questions that the senators ask, So next time you vote, vote for a party that will fix this madness.
Every history class teaches the same lesson.
Freedom rarely disappears overnight. It goes one “reasonable” law at a time.
Now look at Australia.
A bill just landed in Federal Parliament that lets a government regulator run fake social media accounts.
If you’re overseas and thinking “WTH?”, yep, you read that right.
Here’s how we got here:
2023: Labor’s MAD Bill. The regulator, ACMA, could force platforms to police “misinformation.” Government content? Exempt.
2024: It even listed “imminent harm to the Australian economy, including harm to public confidence in the banking system or financial markets” as serious harm. Public backlash. It couldn’t get through the Senate. Bill dropped.
2024: Under 16s banned from social media. To check kids’ ages, platforms check everyone.
15 October 2026: The Digital Duty of Care Bill. It lets the eSafety Commissioner run “sock puppet” accounts. Fake identities, made legal if it passes.
The government says it’s only for research and testing.
Maybe.
Each step may have looked reasonable on its own. But that’s exactly how overreach works.
If the regulator can wear a mask online, what’s next?
$3.7 MILLION in TAXPAYER-FUNDED government grants since 2015.
That’s how much public money the Melbourne mosque that radicalised the Flydubai TERRORIST received.
Read that AGAIN.
While Australians are being warned about the threat of Islamic extremism, OUR OWN GOVERNMENT has been pouring MILLIONS of our hard-earned dollars into this Islamist organisation.
Pauline Hanson can’t come fast enough.
Almost like the media is bought and paid for by our lovely Gov?
How does a comedian find this before any credible journalist in Australia?
Pretty telling…
$25,000,000 in wages to @AlboMP 59 advisors
Thanks for highlighting this one @DHughesy
$25million is over $450,000 per advisor.
Australians must vote him out.
Before Channel 7 starts frightening Australians about reducing immigration and the supposed collapse of our healthcare system, perhaps they could investigate why Australia deliberately restricts its own medical training capacity. The Australian Government controls the number of Commonwealth-supported medical school places. Specialist training is also constrained by funded positions, accreditation and supervision capacity. These aren’t conspiracy theories, they’re documented features of Australia’s medical training system. We have many capable young Australians competing for limited medical school places, while our healthcare system has become heavily dependent on importing doctors trained overseas. And now we’re told reducing immigration threatens the entire system? Perhaps we should be asking why successive governments haven’t invested sufficiently in training Australians in the first place. Of course we need skilled overseas doctors to fill immediate shortages, particularly in regional communities but importing qualified professionals should complement a strong domestic training system, not become a permanent substitute for building one.
Train Australians, expand medical school places, fund specialist training and let’s build a sustainable healthcare workforce.
Hand back the money Brittany Higgins, you scamming phoney.
You got over $2 million in tax payer money for apparently not being able to work ever again.
Give the money back!!!
The irony of the UN admitting they were wrong (or deceitful for profit) about Climate Change at the VERY SAME TIME that #Australia spends Millions on a Climate Conference that nobody attended is stark. Australian Politics is always lagging years behind. Embarrassment 😳
We discovered something deeply concerning
Crikey received $800,000 in government journalism grants & they’re running political advertising on Facebook attacking One Nation
Anthony Albanese halves One Nation senators’ parliamentary staff.
And Albanese Labor government uses Taxpayer money to attack One Nation
Labor is worried.
One Nation will continue to serve Australia & speak out on behalf of Australians
Capital gains tax shouldn’t exist.
I risk my money. I build the business. I make the investment. I do the work. I take the risk.
So why the hell should the government take a cut ?
They risk nothing. They do nothing. They just take.
Parasites.
BREAKING: In a script that couldn’t be written, the lights have GONE OUT at the Pre COP climate summit in Fiji as renewable energy goes bust.
You cannot make this up.
The Australian government just threw a $150 million “pre COP”
climate conference in the Pacific, and the power went completely out, killing the air conditioning and leaving delegates sweating in the heat.
The supreme irony? Co hosts PM Anthony Albanese and Energy Minister Chris Bowen are constantly lecturing everyone about transitioning to 100% renewables.
Yet, the moment they host a massive global summit to brag about it, the lights go dark, using you guessed it - renewable power.
Even independent MP Zali Steggall and the Opposition are calling it a “farce” and a “diplomatic embarrassment”
If they can’t even keep the AC running for their own photo op, how is anyone supposed to trust them to run an entire power grid?
Absolute clown show.
The hosts thought it would be a great idea to get a pilot on to discuss the Flydubai hijacking
Then the interview went sideways HARD!!!
You can always count on Aussies for some straight talking 😂
Ray Hadley has savaged Anthony Albanese.
Federal multicultural grants have exploded from $32 million to $325 million since the last election. That’s not community support.
That’s industrial scale vote buying.
What’s worse, 94 per cent of that taxpayer cash went straight into Labor electorates. Closed, non competitive tenders. Marginal seats first. Ethnic blocs rewarded. The rest of the country can wait.
Hadley is right to call it what it is.
Albanese’s government has turned pork barrelling into an art form. Hundreds of millions funnelled through Home Affairs to lock in the ethnic vote while working Australians cop higher rents, stretched hospitals and stretched services.
This isn’t cohesion. It’s patronage dressed up as “multiculturalism”
Hadley says it’s time to end it and consign this blight on our democracy to history.
He’s correct.
Open the books. Stop treating taxpayer money as a campaign slush fund.
We need to Fire the Liar!
What we allow Labor to do is disgusting !!!!
Centrelink is now paying multiple spousal benefits to Muslims with two or three wives !!
Vote one nation to save the nation 🇦🇺🇦🇺🧡
The spin just got shredded.
RBA Governor Michele Bullock hiked rates to 4.6%, a 15 year high, and then refused to play Albanese and Chalmers’ blame game.
She said it straight:
“Inflation is too high and has been driven by domestic capacity pressures, the inflation impulse from the Middle East conflict is in addition to this, domestic spending and investment have been stronger than expected”
Then the killer line:
“The bottom line is that productivity is doing nothing”
Labor’s entire script collapsed in one press conference.
Albanese spent the morning blaming Morrison, Frydenberg, Putin and Trump.
Chalmers said “Middle East” ten times in 20 minutes and claimed the RBA statement made it “abundantly clear” that international factors were the driver.
Bullock said the opposite.
Domestic demand is too hot, supply isn’t growing, productivity is dead and extra government spending is making it worse.
Handouts, tax cuts, free TAFE and bulk billing announcements are not an economic strategy.
They are demand stimulus in an economy that already has excess demand. That is why mortgage holders are copping another hike and why more could still come.
The time for talking points is over.
Cut the spending. Fix productivity.
Stop pretending wars overseas explain a homegrown mess.
