@sharkibbal@springylocked In defense of OP, a lot of people justify the abuse done by women in fandom spaces. Rosemary is not a similar case considering she never killed anyone, but nobody in the fandom holds her accountable for the neglect and abuse of Sophie.
The "You are Happy. Say it." feels so much more desperate and a bit self-conscious. He didn't want to put Rosemary through ALL that pain only for her to not be happy, so he begged for Rosemary to repeat back that she was happy. wow
If anyone sees this, I want to know, how do y'all feel about people who hold both Felix AND Rosemary accountable for their actions? Admittably, their actions when compared to each other are different levels of terrible, but they still both did shitty things.
Says the guy defending a male character being evil bc ‘he’s mentally ill🥺’ while getting mad at a female character for just straight being mentally ill

@lumatory Meh, yo lo veo más como que ella vio a su creación, la cosa que hizo cuando era feliz y su familia estaba completa, queriendo volver a ese momento, a sentir esa felicidad y calma en vez del dolor y desesperación
@springylocked Of course they would. They would immediately point out that things weren't so straightforward, that patriarchy reigned in those days, and that society would have forced the female character Felix to have problems with alcohol. And they would have called the haters misogynists.
