Senate Public Account Committee terms Turkana County a crime scene.

Since 2013, the county has received close to 120B.

In the entire county, there's no complete or commissioned project worth 10M! 99% of projects launched from 2013 are incomplete.

The former governor,Nanok, and his team used more money in domestic travels than in development. During the COVID period, the county used 3.8M for travel daily despite travel and meeting restrictions!

Findings for the 2020/21 financial year establishes that Nanok and his group inflated pending bills by 5B! From 2B to 7B!

Under Nanok, the number of ECDE teachers employed by the county was way higher than the total number of kids in all ECDE centres.

The Senate is now planning to summon Josphat Nanok to explain the questionable expenditures.
