Eagles sign Joshua Weru
Had an outstanding workout at the International Player Pathway program pro day (4.45 40 with 1.59 10-yard split, 41 1/2-inch vertical, 11-2 broad jump).
Joshua Weru is a DE prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored a 8.69 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 296 out of 2257 DE from 1987 to 2026.

#Eagles GM Howie Roseman said he’s also signing Kenya’s Josh Weru from the NFL’s International Pathway Program to join Nigerian DT Ura Bernard, who was drafted in the 7th round.
@SafaricomPLC get your act together with this New Safaricom app you’ve forced on us. I’m a business owner so I have a lot of patience for businesses trying to change systems etc… but this has taken too long for a service provider like you! The mpesa app has been a disaster..
🚨 In 2013, a Yale University lecture quietly changed how smart people make decisions.
Most people have never seen it.
It came from Ben Polak and instead of teaching theory, he showed how decisions actually play out in real life.
Watching it feels like gaining an unfair advantage.
At its core is Game Theory not as math, but as a way of thinking. A lens to understand how people act when outcomes depend on others.
He breaks down ideas like dominance choosing moves that are best no matter what others do. Backward induction thinking ahead by reasoning from the end. And the proactive bias not just reacting, but shaping the game before it shapes you.
The biggest shift? Realizing that better decisions aren’t about being smarter they’re about thinking strategically.
That’s why this lecture still hits hard.
Because while most people react to situations…
A few understand the game and play it better.
Kentanji Brown Jackson is too good for this court.
I don’t have a transcript yet but she basically asked:
“Didn’t they put birthright citizenship in the constitution in order to avoid this type of debate over who gets to claim a domicile?”
And Sauer just stuttered.
And then Sonia Sotomayor comes in with the “doesn’t this open the door to the government withdrawing citizenship from people who were born here?”
More stuttering.
This is Joshua Weru from Kenya, another remarkable athlete from the NFL’s IPP program who wowed folks at the HBCU showcase this week mentioned in my story about Uar. He’s 6-4, 244. He ran a 4.45 40 with a 41-inch vertical and an 11-2 broad jump: https://t.co/yQ95QoX1Se

A decision made in the 70s in a golf club in New York caused this. See some executives wanted to dump some radioactive waste. This waste doesn't decompose like your traditional compost. It has a half life that keeps changing and is highly carcinogenic
The execs approach various people and finally end up approaching a Kenyan politician who agreed to a 50k USD bribe. In return they were to send the waste into Chalbi desert. The bribe was so little that the execs didn't even go for a board meeting to approve it. They agreed to pay right there over a round of golf.
Back in Kenya the politicians didn't inform the citizenry of what was to happen. The residents of the are just saw heavily protected guys dumping some stuff in the ground covered in tarp. In North Eastern Kenya, houses are mostly makeshift since they're pastoralists. They see this tarp as a good cover to their manyattas and they start digging up the waste and taking the protective paper. This had near instant repercussions. People started to fall Ill and soon that waste found its way downstream to Meru. If you look at the prevalence rate of cancer along that waterway you'll understand that politician's don't care about their own people
A payment from Nairobi to Accra still routes through Europe. Kenya's Pesalink is trying to change that — and what happens next has implications for every payment corridor on the continent.
