2 years out of my 7 years in the NFL thus far I played through depression and anxiety and almost quit and had my best year. I played through trauma another year and had my best year.
Moral of the story : Just keep going. You never know whatβs waiting on the other side!
A pair of great performances sends Kennedy Gamble into the NCAA West Prelims quarterfinals in the 100 and 200. Her 200 time of 23.62 is a lifetime best!

The last time I was at this track I left on crutches with a year recovery in front of me. I didnβt know if I would ever run competitively at the collegiate level. I wish I could have shown freshmen me where I would be four years later on this same track.
Kennedy Gamble led four Cardinal in the women's 60 at the Pac-12 Invite to either enter or improve their marks in the Stanford indoor top-10 list, or set a PB. Gamble is now No. 5 after her 7.38 in the prelims and advances to the final with Olivia Okoli (7.41, No. 7). #GoStanford
Itβs understandable. They could at least offer an apartment dining plan thats less expensive. I personally cook all my own meals to ensure I know whatβs going into my food and fueling my body appropriately for my training. The dining hall doesnβt afford me this.
@kennedy_gamble@negroscrump My kid had the same problem. I guess the issue is much of Stanfordβs food service costs are fixed and if they didnβt make everyone in Stanford housing pay for it the cost would go up for the remaining students. So, in a way, you *are* making a donation (just a forced one).
@negroscrump Like make it make sense. They should enjoy this little money because itβs going to be my advancement on my alumni checks for the next 10 years ππ
Not Stanford making me pay for a dining plan even though I live in an apartment with a kitchen. Just showing the greed of the University not to allow students the option to opt out and instead force them to pay nearly $7,000 for something they donβt need.
