How are you finding the usage difference? better or worse?

I want to move to the new X Subscription. I can't make a considered choice yet, because the numbers aren't there.

The plans are only given as multiples. Plus is the base at $8, Premium is 4x, Super is 15x and Ultra is 50x at $200. 50x of what? There's no published size for the shared pool, the Grok Bot weekly allowance or the SuperGrok Heavy limits. Even @grok says the exact sizes aren't published.

I'm on Cursor Ultra and run a lot of Grok Bot seats. Switching is permanent, and on the new Ultra, Claude and GPT bill at API price from the first request. Reports from people who have switched are split. Some say their Grok Bot usage doubled. Others are draining the pool much faster than before.

Two things would fix this. Publish a real usage figure for Plus so the multiples mean something. Or let us preview our own usage on the new plan before we switch.

Give us that and I'll happily make the move.

Update. That gap is closed!!

I am on Omarchy now running herdr. The friction between the frontier models is gone. Each one has its own workspace in herdr, so I can float between them without losing my place. The herdr terminal was the answer for how I work. It still had one flaw. No connection to Grok Bot.

A webhook fixed it. My agents in herdr can now hand work to Grok Bot and get the reply back on the laptop. No more ferrying notes myself.

That was the last missing piece. My system is complete.

I wanted Grok Bot and Codex in the same conversation. One place to ask. One place to build. No copying notes across.

Grok Bot is what I use as a chief of staff. Codex is the builder. They are good at different jobs. They still do not talk.

I looked at Grok Bot's connector catalog today. There is no Codex option. Not buried. Not listed as coming soon. It is not there.

Codex already has the other half. It has a two-way connector. You start a thread and you reply on that same thread. That is the session I wanted. It only runs as a local server on the computer. Grok Bot only accepts remote HTTP connectors. A local server is not that.

So the two products cannot sit in one chat. The work exists on the Codex side. The pipe Grok Bot will take is a different shape. Until that changes, when a project is stuck I still ferry the notes myself.

Got a Wispr Flow style dictation pill working on Omarchy.

Voxtype dictation is built into Omarchy, but its overlay felt out of place. This is a small pill at the bottom of the screen in your theme's colours, so it matches the volume display and changes when you change theme.

The bars follow your voice while you talk, ripple while it transcribes, then disappear. It never takes focus, clicks pass through, and it needs no sudo. One command to install.
