Today, I met with cherished leaders and members of our party, the All Progressives Congress, in Ifedayo and Odo-Otin Local Government Areas. The warm reception and strong words of encouragement I received clearly show that the APC in these areas remains united, focused, and ready to lead Osun back to the path of progressive governance.

My political journey has always been about service, not personal ambition. With over a decade of hands-on experience at both state and federal levels including my tenure as MD of OSICOL and Commissioner for Finance, I have consistently delivered results that improved lives and strengthened our economy.

Therefore, I seek the continued support of everyone, not just for me, but for the vision we all share: a better Osun built on transparency, fiscal discipline, and inclusive development.

Furthermore, I appealed to all young citizens who have just attained the age of 18 to participate in the forthcoming Continuous Voter Registration exercise. I reminded them that the coming election is about their future, and the only way to contribute meaningfully is by becoming registered voters in Osun.

I also took the special occasions of my visitations to call on our members in Ifedayo, Odo-Otin, and across Osun to remain calm and steadfast. With the positive feedback from the mass of Nigerians on the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu at the federal level and the renewed resolve of our party men and women in Osun to return the state to a purposeful governance enshrined in progressive values, the 2026 governorship election will be a victory for our party just as the re-election bid of our President is assured in 2027.

To any serious PDP member who is willing to run in 2027,  this is the best time for the race and the best time to move out. Aisu dynasty is stranded and confused. They will only throw all of you under the wheel to be stranded and helpless collectively.

None of them has been consulted or willing to accept him as flag bearer before announcing decisions to gullible party followers who are consuming debris from Aisu political dynasty.I don't know why some of our friends who appeared intelligent in PDP don't ask questions.

For Governor Ademola Adeleke to be on the ballot for ANY position under major political parties in Osun, he must beg Adegboyega Oyetola, the current leader of APC in Osun, Wike, the current landlord of PDP or Rauf Aregbesola the current Southern leader of ADC.

The defense of Nurudern Alowonle by the @Osun_State_Gov and others raises serious concerns for the safety and security of Osun indigenes.

Rather than addressing the key issues such as the weapon allegedly found on him, his attempt to escape while in handcuffs, and the reported gunfight involving him and his associates the government’s focus appears to be on claims that he was shot at while in police custody. This shift in narrative is alarming and distracts from the pressing matter of public safety.

It’s difficult to understand why anyone would defend someone reportedly caught with a pistol and linked to violent activities.

The protection of lives and property should take precedence over attempts to justify or excuse such actions.
