@Isaak_F@kevybet@CoryBMorgan All I know for certain is that there is an amazingly higher probability that what I assume happened than what you're assuming.
@Isaak_F@kevybet@CoryBMorgan Whatever is discussed at their New Teachers Conferences, I'm assuming. But they're not getting pedicures or massages while having those discussions.
@Isaak_F@kevybet@CoryBMorgan The Walker Room is a conference room. And using "Kananaskis Lodge/Nordic Spa" is purposefully misleading as the sign might be "near" where the spa is located, but is obviously providing direction to a conference room in the Lodge.

@TheBreakdownAB No pipeline company is going to get anywhere close to FID unless the Feds can 100% guarantee "hassle-free" construction and a giant chunk of public money up front. And no gov't would or should make that guarantee.
@JackDan110 So they knew his mic was gonna get cut and that Bruce was gonna to suggest that the kid get spanked? Maybe Bruce was in on this, in that case! Maybe he's trying to orchestrate a coup!
@FreeAlbertaRob Commissioning a $14 million cost estimation exercise doesn't build a pipeline. Nor does an advisory group. This guy's party actually knows what gets a pipeline built because they helped push one over the finish line.
@Russty1105@JoeMcFarland How is this money "saved", exactly? It's already budgeted for and will be paid out to the teachers once an agreement is reached (in retro pay and future pay bumps). Not to mention the additional time, resources, and $$ required to get grade 12 students caught up for graduation.
@McAllisterBruce Why would someone in your position need to remind themselves to be civil? That is fundamental to your role. That and allowing for a fair and balanced exchange regardless of your political bias.
@Giselle_west_@McAllisterBruce It doesn't take courage for a person to own their inappropriate remarks. It takes guilt and regret. Additionally, It takes common decency to not say them in the first place.
@JoanHansen40148@HenryHill90210@WeAreCanProud Seeing as salaries for teachers in Alberta start at about $65k and max out at just over $100k/yr., the average is going to be much less than that. And, as far as I can tell, that 100k mark isn't reached until 10yrs or more in the profession.
@AbJrogg@ABDanielleSmith@rebeccakschulz I totally agree with you on that. It's tough to see how blatantly soft she and her ministry are on the O&G sector.
What I was trying to emphasize was how much "less" of a minister Jean's role has been & how much more of one Kaumeyer has played since his appointment.
@AbJrogg@ABDanielleSmith@rebeccakschulz Jean is mostly just a figurehead. DM Kaumeyer is the one calling the shots at E&M. Well, the shots that Smith isn't calling.
@sorryforthedel1@sisuvanhell Not only that, but many have refused to pay rent owed to landowners. They hide behind bankrupt/insolvent shell companies and legal loopholes, ultimately leaving uneconomic assets for the province (taxpayers) to clean up. And this is far from uncommon in the industry.
@TheBreakdownAB Seeing how awful the APMC is at selling crude, I'm sure "HarvestCo" will cost taxpayers quite a bit while barely making a dent in liabilities. It would provide a great opportunity for our gov't to line some grifter pockets, however. And I think that was part of their platform.
@Russty1105@KentBurtWriter@TheBreakdownAB The server most likely deserved a 25 or 30% tip. Either of which I'd be more than happy to pay of that we're the case. If I were going to throw around taxpayer money as if I deserved to eat like royalty.
@Russty1105@KentBurtWriter@TheBreakdownAB Whether it was added automatically or not, his point is that the tip is reflective of the extravagant cost of the meal, both of which amount to a big chunk of change.
