@MaskedModerate1@Smileyyeg And you have a point.
Anytime the govt spends money I’m skeptical. In this case though all I’m saying is the business case for this purchase is better than doing from scratch. It could still wind up being a waste… to which I’ll admit to being wrong
@Smileyyeg Even if the units are bought for more than root cost, it is still cheaper than the govt funding building from scratch? Because we all know how govt cost overruns go when they sponsor projects like this.
Thought your economics degree taught you that
@letsgetitbetter@Smileyyeg You are correct.
But buying these units for affordable housing purposes does not equate to a prop up of the overall market.
It does mean it’s cheaper to buy these than the govt building from scratch, regardless of it these units are not sold at loss…
@HalbrookDaniel@Smileyyeg Oh so you’re implying all “vulnerable people” are Liberal voters? Says more about Conservatives who don’t give a f—k about the vulnerable doesn’t it?
@MaskedModerate1@Smileyyeg Developers don’t “want to sell at a loss” is what Carney said but that doesn’t mean they’ll get what they want. Negotiations haven’t even started.
@HalbrookDaniel@Smileyyeg Oh they’re going to “Liberal voters”?
So they have a record of who voted who and they’ll just give to them?
You’re f-in dumb as a bag of rocks
It’s terrifying that people actually think MAID is really a bunch of medical professionals running around convincing people to let them kill them.
Y’all need to get off the internet
