Largemouth #bass sampling at #Bullock Pen Lake not only yielded high catch rates of all sizes but the quality of bass was phenomenal. Also saw some nice #saugeye and #crappie. Water temp was 60-62°F.
#KincaidLake has a long history of being known for producing gaint #bass. Sampling this week proves that the lake is continuing to live up to it's reputation. Big bass was 9 lbs 3 oz with high numbers of 4-7 lb bass.
A portion of Old River Road paralleling the Salt River in Anderson County is now open for anglers wanting better access to fish the headwaters of Taylorsville Lake for the spring white bass run.

Windy day sampling largemouth #bass at #Guist Creek #Lake in #Shelby Co. Water temp was in upper 60's. Saw good numbers of fish over 12" size limit. Bass were in excellent condition. Also saw a lot of #crappie and #catfish.
#Largemouth#Bass removal at Beaver Lake set for Wednesday, October 7th. This management practice has been used since 2011 to reduce crowding of small bass. All fish removed will be less than 11 inches and will be stocked into Kincaid Lake.

#Habitat work completed at #BullockPen#Lake this winter are holding some very large #bass & #catfish right now. Big bass were seen on all the brush piles. The pictures speak for themselves.
#KDFWR Habitat Branch was out evaluating #habitat work completed last year at #Boltz#Lake in Grant County. The results looked great!!! Not only were #bass using these brush piles but so were keeper-size crappie and bluegill.
Fish attractor/habitat sites created at #BullockPen#Lake this winter from donated Christmas trees already hold large numbers and sizes of #fish. Everything from #bass, #crappie and #catfish are calling these brush piles home. Sounds like it's time to go #fishing.
On Monday the 18th, #RainbowTrout were stocked in the tailwaters of Dewey, Carr Creek and Yatesville Lakes. Also in Left Fork and Right Fork of beaver Creek (Floyd Co.).
