The 29-year-old suspect in today's targeted attack on two National Guardsmen has been identified as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, four senior law enforcement sources told NBC News.

Lakanwal's last known location was Bellingham, Washington.

Officials say he immigrated from Afghanistan in August 2021, during the chaotic Biden administration withdrawal and Operation Allies Welcome.

Fox News sources report he overstayed his visa and was in the country illegally.

The FBI is investigating the attack as possible terrorism.

Both West Virginia National Guardsmen remain in critical condition.

Lakanwal was also shot during the confrontation and is being treated at a hospital.

The same month 13 American service members were killed at Abbey Gate.

The same month the Biden administration rushed tens of thousands of Afghan evacuees into the country with minimal vetting.

Now two more American soldiers are fighting for their lives.

Nigeria is aligning with Russia and the Chinese Communist Party, as shown by @BwalaDaniel interview on Russian TV. The US government is keenly aware of Nigeria's alliance with BRICs, and overall unreliability. Nigeria is the Yugoslavia of the 21st century, and if Nigeria keeps allying with US adversaries and enabling genocide against its own people the US needs to help break up the country.
