In principle, schools cannot be targeted, you first have to prove that the school is effectively contributing to military action. You can check the Geneva conventions or the icrc study on IHL if you are interested.

@inversefox @Whatruonaboutm8 @Panther8819 @danielgoyal Incorrect: An attack against a civilian object (e.g. a school) is generally a violation of IHL and may constitute a war crime. An object can only lose this status if it makes an effective contribution to military action. Then necessity & proportionality need to be assessed
