The ‘cost’ of his training is simply his wage, funded by central government. You’re asking him to pay back his salary for work done. Slavery is illegal, even for doctors.

My professionalism and compassion already compel me and colleagues to work hundreds of hours a year unpaid. Tried to pay the mortgage with claps during Covid, didn’t work.

I can go private or leave the country or strike against a labour market manipulator. What would you do in my position? Those are the only options.

@svpino Depends on your pre-test probability. You got tested presumably because you have symptoms, therefore your pre test probability is higher than 1 in 10,000. Otherwise this isn’t a test, it’s a fishing exhibition.
