To the #NixuhNation,
The past few months haven't been easy. We've poured our heart and soul into this brand and we've had to make some tough decisions. We've won plenty, and we've lost even more, but we've always stayed on the path of "do what's best for our members" - nothing makes us happier than helping the people we care about.
Nixuh will always hold a special place in our hearts, no matter how many people pray for our downfall, we know our intentions are pure.
It took us a while to arrive at this decision, and as sad as it may be for some of you - we're not done yet.
Let's have a little more fun together.

Some advice to @Our_DA. If you do manage to form some kind of coalition with the ANC, now would be a really good time to tighten up your tone and language. You are not some national saviour and the future of this country doesn't hinge on you "rescuing" us. A bit more tact and humility would go a long way as you continue the journey of being "public servants".
The ANC seem to have accepted their fate with dignity and humility, so now would be a good time for you to drop your smug tone and play ball for the greater good of all South Africans.
Whether you like it or not, a lot of people in this country perceive you to be arrogant and disconnected from the average South African lived experience. You can either moan and complain about being "judged by a different standard" or you can just acknowledge that this is somewhat induced by your own actions.
I'm sharing this with you as a passionate South African that wants to see this country fulfil its true potential. I am not a DA hater and I think you do many things well, but humbling yourself in patches and listening to people's criticism has not been your strong point.
I know you will say that if you bow down to everyone's opinion then you will never be able to pick a direction to run in, and I get that, but there's some common denominator points that people are making about you on all ends that you refuse to listen to.
Finally, I really hope you and the ANC can figure out a way to take this country forward. We need economic growth more than anything. We need government to create the necessary conditions for the private sector to grow. We also need government to keep capitalism in check. Ultimately, we need government to be a referee on the pitch without being a player on the field.
South Africa needs the many politicians to put this country first. Best of luck, I think you're all going to need it.
This sentiment was supported by Dr Penninah Lutung, AHF Africa Bureau Chief. Also saying that stalling of the Pandemic Agreement presents the opportunity to negotiate on areas of equity, financing and transparency. @ahfafrica
Discussions around equity are critical for all, for our future generations. We urge world leaders to not settle for a ‘status quo’ & extend the negotiations long enough to ensure a Pandemic Agreement enshrining equity as a fundamental tenet of global public health. #AHFSOS
Michael Weinstein, AHF President has asked in the press conference. Will we ever learn? And that the core principle of the current Pandemic Treaty is extreme greed. #GlobalHealthEquity#WHOActNow#SaveOurSociety
Current press conference running hosted by the AHF. The World Health Assembly (WHA) is currently underway and member states have been unable to reach a consensus on the Global Pandemic Agreement. This is actually a positive development. #GlobalHealthEquity#WHOActNow
Equity is to be fair and impartial. The Aids Healthcare Foundation criticizes the proposed Global Pandemic Agreement's glaring oversite of equity and transparency. The AHF will be making an announcement this morning related to this. @ahfsouthafrica
