Took part in the farewell ceremony for Namma Chandru Iyer, British Deputy High Commissioner for Karnataka and Deputy Trade Commissioner for South Asia, and conveyed my gratitude to him personally and on behalf of Karnataka for his valuable contributions and support.

Mr. Chandru has been a close friend of Karnataka and has helped with the key initiatives of our Industries Department, playing an important role in strengthening our engagement with the UK and Europe and advancing Karnataka’s investment journey.

His support and involvement during our roadshows, meetings and overseas engagements, particularly during our industry delegation visits to the UK and Europe, will always be remembered and appreciated.

He will always remain a friend of Karnataka. I wish him continued success in his new responsibilities and hope our warm association continues in the years ahead.

UPI has made me realise something.

I have been using SBI for around 10 years and HDFC Bank for 5.

But honestly, I have no idea how much money my banks may have deducted from my account over the years.

ATM charges. Debit card charges. Service charges. Low balance charges. Whatever else.

Earlier, going through a bank statement was manageable.

Now my statement is filled with hundreds of UPI transactions, so I just... don't check it.

UPI made banking incredibly convenient, but has anyone else stopped noticing the small charges leaving their account?

Is there an easy way to check all bank charges deducted from an account without manually going through thousands of transactions?
