All shops in Prabhadevi are closed. You do not get vegetables, fruits or grocery. How will they suvive? In your speech yesterday you said shops selling daily needs, medicines, etc will be kept open!

Relax lock down
If shops selling essentials have to remain open 24*7, distribution lines have to be operative. Persons delivering essentials should be allowed to travel.

I was quite surprised to see Telcos approaching SC for help when it is the GOVT which had made the demand for payment of AGR tax!
I think that Govt is looking for financial help for improving budget deficit.

Times group in Mumbai is against Metro 3 line. After HC gave permission to cut trees for car shed, Maharashtra Times gave a head line "आरेत वृक्ष तोड सुरु ". आणि खाली लहान अक्षरांत कोर्ट परवानगी नंतर. याला बोली भाषेत कुसकेपणा म्हणतात.

Corp. I. Tax -- I am keen to find out who among the BJP leaders is so bold to reduce corp income tax from 34% to 22%! Though Jaitley had promised reduction in corp IT to 25% in his first budget, he never took any step. Only after his passing away, this miracle has happened.

National Language-- All countries have a National language. UK has several languages such as welsh, scottish etc. But English is the identified as the language of UK. Similarly Hindi is the language India. It does not mean we have given up three language formula.

Metro and environment -- Media and school children are not equipped to understand the complexities involved in taking such a decision. If the court is involved taking a decision, let the court decide. Let us not fight the battle in media.

Govt has not moved away from three language formula. There has to be one National language. We may use other languages such as English. Let the people decide which language to use. Or use translators. Just because hindi is nat. Lang. It does not mean others are inferior

Steps being taken -- I was watching the coverage of FM's news conference. The anchor said the main point is to find whether these steps are adequate. Important to note that Govt has started taking steps. After time, further steps can be taken.

Poor show by Indian Auto Industries is due to two reasons. Introduction of Bvi std from 2020 and the preferred treatment given electrical vehicles. Customers do not wish to buy cars which are likely to be phased out in near future.

What a boring game is being played by Indian batsmen like Ravindra Jadeja! Both Hanuma Vihari and Jadeja made no effort score runs against West Indies bowlers. Once you surrender to the bowlers, it is difficult to play scoring shots. Does Indian team have any plan at all?

Bank merger announced today appears good on paper. Other than import of risk officer from private sector, with no strings attached as far as salary is concerned. The Banks should also have freedom to appoint MD from private sector. Third imp thing is no govt intervention.

I am shocked to see the way P C Chidambaram has behaved today. He has shown the bad side of his character. He did not allow the CBI/ED officers to enter the building where he stays. They had to jump over the wall to get in!

It appears that Supreme Court wishes to write new laws for lending. It is well known that secured creditors have a charge on the assets of the borrower. SC has agreed to listen to the unsecured creditors of Essar Steels whether they are entitled to share the settlement money

I was amused to listen to the anchors of two leading tv chanels who were saying BJP acted unfairly. They should know everything in fare in love and war. They should also have known what is known as ganimi kava in warfare. Shivaji had used it successfully against moguls.
