Following Electoral law is the absolute minimum we should expect of our representatives, especially if the benefits they received had a material impact on their political career. There is no democracy without transparency. If Farage hasn't reported donations in line with the law he shouldn't be an MP.

Interesting. Another good reason to take back the £2.5 Billion pounds DESNZ have allocated to a mini nuclear program - on top of the fact that we’ve not been told at what price the energy might land and of course the technology is unproven and it’s a proliferation risk. This Polish energy company says it can do the same job for no public money. They are however as equally coy on the question of cost of energy - what price per unit that they can generate at. To offer to come in under the Sizewell price is not really much of a boast. Sizewell will cost us all three times the current wholesale price of energy and three times the current rate at which wind and solar projects can produce energy. But at least these guys don't want a subsidy before having another subsidy. Dump the SMR (Small Modular Reactor) program now, use that £2.5 Billion elsewhere. And consider the words of the boss of EDF just weeks ago - Britain already has too much electricity on the grid. He said stop building wind projects - but the logical implication of that is to stop building nuclear projects that are decades from delivering but adding to bills right now. Nuclear power had its chance, the last 70 years it’s been promising cheaper energy and failing miserably. Time to end it.
